That reminds me of a story actually. When I was a young boy, I believed so strongly that I could fly that I concocted this grandiose (or not so grandiose) plan of how I was going to make it happen. It was obvious to me that it was the FEATHERS that enabled birds to fly, so I decided that if I collected enough feathers of my own, and taped them to myself, then I should be able to fly too!

So I went around gathering feathers for the next few weeks, and when I had collected a huge pile of them, I taped each and every one of them up and down the entire length of both of my arms, and then proceeded to climb the biggest tree I could find (I lived out in the country). When I reached a branch about half way up the tree (I figured that was high enough, since I saw birds do it all the time Nod Nod Nod Nod Nod ) I jumped off as high as I possibly could, arms stretched out wide and flapping like crazy, fully believing that I would lift off and fulfill my life-long dream of flying! Floating Just to give you an idea of how convinced I was that the feathers would really make me fly - when I jumped out of that tree, I looked up, not down! Giggle Giggle Giggle Giggle Giggle Of course, it didn't work out quite as planned - something to do with the laws of physics and that irritating thing called gravity.........but I never gave up believing! :D (Big Grin)
