I am quite active on my fb account but it might be that perhaps you landed on a list where not all updates are visible. In fact, I will update some photos later tonight on that account from my recent trip to Germany

Hey, yeah, I've been following it for a while now. Brian and Mike are at the helm again so it should be pretty decent. (They weren't planning on doing a sequel but Nickelodeon nagged them until they caved. )

I do like the fact that they're not trying to replicate The Last Airbender in any way (the story promises to stand on it's own) and the animation (for the pilot at least) is pretty amazing!

And best yet, it's not just her as a small child, they actually have her grow up over the series too. Character growth achieved!

But I can't help thinking about the premise. Aang was an airbender who, because of how long it's been since an airbender was seen, was talented more for his unique nature than his skills. Our dear little Korra, on the other hand, is the opposite; skill and talent over three elements as a child, but unable to grasp the fourth.

Why do I get the impression that she's going to be a grumpy tsundere with issues about laughing and letting go of her troubles? Because that's what airbenders, the really good ones, did. They were monks after all

She doesn't seem overly grumpy in the teasers that were leaked a few months ago (and then promptly taken down, or I'd link you ). More like...cocky. Extremely cocky. She knows her powers give her an advantage in most physical scuffles and hasn't been in any truly dangerous situations yet. It'll be interesting to watch her grow out of (or into) that.

I feel like such a naughty schoolboy... especially after what I said... I found the leaked episode, the complete one.

And it was so much fun!! I am loving Korra, a perfect mix of naive and strong with that cocky attitude. Even little things like when she hugs her new 'master' and the children and lifts all of them off their feet instead of just girly cuddling... Exactly what a sheltered, super-powered mid-teen should be; she's perfect!

If you haven't had the whole things spoiled for you already from the leaks you've seen, then I won't do any more damage, but for now... I'm happy, and you'll be happy too, I'm certain of it!
