It seemed that there had been not a single clear sky since the two had fought, blue skies and white clouds were nonexistent. There was only rain and darkness, some even blamed Maiko for it. She had shown a bit of affect on weather, however it was rare so most brushed the thought off as mere coincidence. In fact, no one had even seen Maiko lately. Maybe she was just having overtime? Yeah, that had to be it - she was still fuck deep in paperwork over Loki's wrath. It wasn't that it bothered her, not in the slightest. It made her sad, though, seeing his name yet not Loki himself.
How long had she been 'missing'? A week, two or three weeks? It didn't seem that anyone would notice, then again no one really cared for Maiko. At least, that's what she thought. Loki was her life, she had nothing else to really bother her time with. She always thought of him, and missed him quite a bit - why didn't she go see him, you may ask? Maiko believed he hated her, for good reason of course. He kinda did go on a massacre and all that.
Truth be told, everyone had been seeing Maiko - they just didn't know it. Her hair had been dyed black (a bit lazily) and always seemed a bit wet from rain or shower, her head was always lowered so none could truly look at her face. Her figure, if possible, was a bit thinner, and her clothing style had changed to a loose hoodie and jeans.
While walking down the street, a female bumped into Loki. The rain matted her blackish white hair to her face, head jerking up nervously at the contact. Her eyes had a few red steaks from stress, dark bags under her eyes showed insomnia. She appeared to be the definition of anxiety, being the definition of peculiar. There was something in her eyes that just.. Wasn't normal. As tears began to fill them, it was obvious that the malevolence was long gone - in fact, she looked like she was just barely hanging on.
" O-Oh.. I-I'm sorry.." She mumbled, rain droplets trickling down her spectacle lenses and cold skin. She seemed, in all honesty, scared. She seemed frightened of what would happen next, or at all. She wasn't Maiko, and it was terrifying.

"What is it, James?" Loki asked with an annoyed sigh.Β

"its been forever-"he grumbled.

"Yes, I am fine..." He sighed. It was starting to get on his nerves, how James just seemed like an overprotective big brother or something sometimes-Β

" Loookiiii !! Loki Loki Loki !! " Maiko happily clapped her hands together, jumping up and down. " Guess what guess what guess what!! "

" I stayed up ALLL morning making flower crowns, and I made a super duper special one JUST for you ! " Maiko grinned, plopping a flower crown on his head. It was literally a crown of flowers. They flowers weren't really yellow, rather a golden with small forget-me-nots to look like jewels.

" Loki..? " Maiko lowered her head, extending her hand - in her grasp was not only the ice rose, but the flower crown of ice roses," I ... Assume you would like these back.."

Loki frowned, snatching the flowers from her hand. He then took a step toward her, moving some of her hair out of her face. He then smiled, placing the crown on her head, then put the roses in her hair and behind her ears. "Now why would i want them back? They were gifts"Β

The actions surprised Maiko quite a bit," ... I believed you disliked me, so I figured I would return them.." She replied quietly, continuing to look down. It was mainly to hide the deep blush that coated her face.
