r you coming with a group or by yourself? anyway, places you HAVE to go: Beijing, Xi'an (where the clay warriors are), Shanghai. then if you still hav time, pick up somewhere with acient mountain or something (do u like martial arts? try Wudang Mountain, birth place of Tai Chi)..seriously, there r just too many places.

as for shopping, try some Beijing tour website, they shoud tell you where the Xiushui Street is (or whatever it's called in English). It's THE most popular market in Beijing now you can really buy anything, expect a panda, that you can think of there.

did you heard about the "flea market"?? that kinf of market where the people sell toys, clothes, etc, etc very very cheap prices.

its because im a cololector of old toys from china or japan like ultraman, mazinga, godzilla, etc etc, thats why im going to china too.

yeah i know about flea market, but sadly have no idea if theres one in those cities. but i can sure tell you about toys here.

when i was like 5 we were crazy about transformers, sometimes ninja turtels too. st. seiya and dragonball was super popular in mid 90s but there werent as many toys as transformers around.

so basically all our toys were from japan and america, dont have any original stuff so far as i can recall. they normally, like anywhere else, come and go with waves of cartoons. china even sucks at cartoons today i think thats why we never had any toys that could base on them lol.

im sorry to tell it is unlikely theres any that sort of museum in china.

we did have some speical exhibitions for tezuka in hong kong and other big mainland cities long ago. all i know is theres only one museum for him but its at his japanese hometown tho..
and ultraman, we do have ultraman stores here. there r ones in my town, beijing and shanghai as well. you should have no problem finding them

i want to thank you my friend for your time to answer me all my questions, i apreciatted this.

im a big fan of ultraman, and my intentions is to buy chinese toys or japanese toys of ultraman and others tokusatsu characters ( and some classic robots too), and my second intention is take me a picture with some ultraman statue or with some guy dressed like ultraman hahaha! ( really!!)

im a big fan of the chinese martial arts too( speacially the drunken style of kung fu,is awesome!!)

as you see those are my intentions and the reasons why i want to go to your country my friend.

if you go to china, then..you know, just enjoy the country's own great stuff. we have waaaayyy more fun things than martial arts. visit as many place as you can and try as many different food you can.

and really, japan is the perfect place to go if you are hunting THEIR creations. you will find ur lovings in china but you do need another trip to japan too, lol.

did a brief search, taking off from shanghai its from 650 RMB (= 65 british pounds) up to around 1600 RMB (=160 b.p.), depends on which city in japan u r going and how long you want to stay there, single flight.

and sorry i only remember how much our money worth to pounds now
