Taeyang from Kpop band, Big Bang.Okay, so i'm terrible at textures haha, so no making fun >_< this was a bit harder than my other drawings i've made, but i like how it turned out for the most part. i don't know what it is, but one thing i can't get down is the shaved part of Taeyang's head!!! ARG! haha oh well, i had to improvise. his scarf was kicking my butt for a while. i had to take a break from it and work on something else, then i'd wanna fix it still, so it was a never ending process of my back-and-forth method. ahaha.
Hope you Kpop/Big Bang fans like it! ^_^

i scan them, though my scanner usually does not work well for my pictures. it sometimes makes them look scratchy or too dark T-T

Ummm I'm looking at it...aaaand I don't know! I mean you had 5 different types of textures in the same general area. His skin which runs into the T-shirt,...then the scarf, the jacket,....the buttons ON the jacket! lol
I mean I'm a noob artist (on a good day), but I honestly don't see what you could have done differently! It's fine...Really!

I think the reason pictures become lighter is because when you scan a picture it sucks away the colors...or something like that ^^'
