At last I've finished it! That's my most serious work by far. I'm mad about Avatar series and few days ago finished watching the first book of Legend of Korra. Well, after all that I felt i had to draw Korra with Mako.Korra appears to be really strong girl, huh, I was stunned how she managed to raise the whole Tenzin's family, so carrying Mako on her arms would be a piece of cake for her. Drawing characters was rather easy, but I'm not fond of drawing backgrounds. Well, it came out better than I expected, but I managed to fail perspective =__=
And I guess Mako would have never allowed Korra to carry him like that, but here I guess he's too weak to stand on his feet (after huge fighting I suppose), so he has to put up with that situation XD

No offense, but Mako's a sleaze bag. First, you can tell he likes Korra, but, being the better man and not wanting to mess up their relationship as teammates, ignores it, which I respect.
HOWEVER, he goes out and gets himself a WONDERFUL girlfriend in Asami, but then still hangz onto his feelings for Korra. Then, when Bolin steps up and takes a turn at bat (which I think should have worked out >3>) after MAKO REJECTED HER he gets jealous and goes after Korra trying to get her to stop seeing him, which she WASN'T. She had made it abundantly clear to Bolin that she wasn't in the field for a date, so besides being criminally dense, she really didn't do anything wrong when kissing Mako. Of course, instead of pulling away, he goes ahead and kisses her back with no regard for his brother, whom he KNOWS has a crush on her.
Then, after that, even though Korra eventually gives up and accepts that Asami has him, HE STINKEN' STILL CAN'T EVEN TRY to let her go! Then, he goes and CHEATS on the wonderfully beautiful Asami by going and confessing his "love" to Korra. He then proceeds to, while still in a relationship, kiss her.
Now, considering Korra knew he was still in a relationship with Asami, she's also down on my good list. However, you need to consider her character type. She wouldn't do that. So, unless Bryke messed up big time (AGAIN) and changed her completely, I'm sticking to my belief that she holds Mako on a pedestal and assumes he did the right thing and broke up with Asami.
I kinda hold her on a tiny bit of a pedestal, myself. -///-

I myself might be holding Mako on pedestal, cause I see that he has made several mistakes and I still haven't stopped liking him since his first appearance. You're right about this kissing scene with poor Bolin and all that love triangle, but I believe Mako was just confused and unaware of his wishes. He felt something to both Korra and Asami, but the latter one appeared to be quicker and more self-confident. And you know, self-confident people often make others believe that what they wnat and do is the only right option. Mako hadn't much time to mull over all what was happening to him lately, Asami just appeared and asked him out on a date. I think he's kind of a man who used to cling to some kind of stereotype of his perfect woman. He must had been imagining falling for beautiful feminine girl, while Korra was all that tomboish and like a bro to him. Then, seeing Korra in untypical for her role of a date (in case with Bolin) he might have felt (not thought, he didn't realized his feelings at that time) that he sees her like woman and did what he felt he wanted to, without thinking. Emotions are hard to control sometimes, so I can forgive him that incident. That happens, we learn from mistakes. Korra acted no better than him, dating Boling only because Mako rejected her. In that case they act much alike through the series. I think Bryke did well, they showed us human-like characters, that can make mistakes and still be deserving.
I don't remember Mako kissing Korra for the second time when being in relationship with Asami.. Did that really happen?

WHUT?! Are you serious? When in those tunnels where refugees lived, he decided finally that he values Korra more than Asami, the latter one understood it and was depressed for a couple of episodes. Maybe he haven't told her all that "Asami, I break up with you!" stuff, but I think that was supposed to be undersood in that way. You just don't like him, girl ;D

I am serious. You can fall out of like with someone, but you need to TELL them before pursuing someone else! That's just horrible, what he did! I mean, did you even SEE Asami's face? How hurt she was when she knew Mako had feelings for another girl when he was supposed to he with HER? He hurt her badly by not breaking things off, and I just can't excuse it.
