Description Restored
(08-04-12)

Once adored,
People screaming your name
Making hearts quiver
With just a simple glimpse.

But now...
You lay, broken,
Locked away in the darkness
Absent from people's thoughts.

The hardship of passing years
Took its tone on you...
Laying, untouched for so long,
Longing to be moulded back
To your once adored glory.

And we, long have been waiting
To see that will flourish,
That skin once more refined
And never again to be forgotten.

But alas the day is soon amongst us....

Your hands and feet
Will once again shine,
Taking us to new feat.

Your flawlessly shaped curves
Will once again be restored,
To see the light of day once more.

Your untamed heart
Will scream and roar,
At the sight of this new world.

And I will be here waiting,
For this time, after ooh so long,
Can finally ride you
Into the sunset.

But I like how everyone managed to interpret it in so many different ways! -it also means people actually tried to understand it!

I know this isn't a riddle, but I still would never have caught that this is about a car! Looking back across it now, though, it makes perfect sense that it's a car

I am glad, cause I wanted for people to familiarize however they want with this piece... whether its a car, person, object, etc...

A lovely , my friend. So often we let things "rust" in the corner, ignoring their inherent beauty, forgetting how much they were once adored. People, cars, it makes little differecne.

Thanks
Yes I agree, sometimes we just ignore whats right there and leave it all to rot, wearing away with time. With people I think its worse cause people have feelings.. cars on the other hand have feeling when someone cares so much for them.

Yes, yes... Its a shame the way other tedious factors (like "work") get in the way of what truly matters to us.

I wouldn't have guessed car. Until the end I was guessing statue that had fallen into the sand somewhere, and then, for reasons unknown, the last stanza had the word 'horse' in my head.
I like this, I like the ambiguity - I love it when interpretation is left up to the reader.

Thanks that was what I was aiming for, wanted the reader to figure out what it was about.. cause sometimes the best thing is to let the imagination run free!

Thanks again
