The good thing about having Bing Daily Wallpaper on your phone is that you can get lots of inspiration each day. A couple of days ago, another daily wallpaper appeared - a photo of water lilies from a unique perspective; taken from below with an extremely wide angle lens. This was something I haven't tried before, so I wanted to give it a shot.The lilies are from Xfrog Flowers 3, the translucency with variable depth on the leaves was a true challenge to render, but I was quite happy with the underwater rays I achieved even at such a small scale.
I also thought it would be interesting to add a dragonfly and an eagle soairing high, to demonstrate different "layers" of wildlife under and above water.
