Very pleasant render - great vegitation, distant landscape and atmosphere. I'm impressed you did this to relax - you must have the processes needed to set up this kind of landscape down to an art in itself.

maybe a bit more sunlight would make it look more calm, but its a calm scene indeed ^^

Thank you! More sunlight (or a different sun angle) would have decreased the sense of depth, that's why I used these settings

Putting all those rocks around the river's edge looks so much better than bare terrain like many do (even myself at times ) the far away terrains look really good (even though they are faint) and the shape of that tree is perfect

...and it's much easier to form the river by paiting rocks than messing with terrain maps etc...
Thank you! ...the tree is an Alder I modified in the plant editor...alders are great for making cool gnarly trees
