EDIT: Why won't this appear on my front page? it's not there for me, is it for you?This character is basically a tribute to my senegal parrot Sulev, who I only had for a few months and who mysteriously died without showing any signs of illness beforehand. R.I.P. Sulev, even though you were with me for such a short time, I love you very much and you still bring a tear to my eye 3 years later. You were the best bird ever. And no thanks to my parents who went and buried you somewhere (I don't even know where!) where I can't come to mourn you, even though granny's garden had been good enough for several previous dead birds, both budgies and wild birds.
and senegal parrots are the prettiest birds ever.

There's a few at our local petstore but I've befriended one young male in particular, he recognizes me and my boyfriend Ben (~Kyussus ) every time we come in and we whistle at each other for over an hour. He bites fingers but when I raise mine to the cage, he comes over to it and turns his head so I can scratch his neck. :'D The guy that works there even opened the cage for me and said, "I know nothing about parrots and this guy's never been handled, but if you wanna try then go ahead." He climbed up onto my finger apprehensively (and a bit nervous-wobbly XD) and sat there while I petted and scratched him. He relaxed after that and I felt like we bonded big time.

I love the dragons with feathers but are there any rules regarding this race that I have to respect ?

Ummm... I guess the only really strict rule is no dull colors. Incorporating blacks and greys to the design is fine, but they shouldn't be the main color. There's the general rule of their crests and tail fluff being composed of 3 rows of feathers, but there are exceptions as seen on Yotho and Thisha. And their body build should remain pretty compact and bulky... their eyes are traditionally with a bright iris and a duller sclera. I think that should be it, other than that it doesn't have any strict rules regarding appearance
Regarding the Royal Guard (if you should want to make your raelian a member of it), the coastal guard (that Musa is a part of) is merely a branch of it. There are several sections that are not really a part of the royal guard, but even further branches of it, like the messengers (Aya & Thisha). While all royal guard members wear a silver earring in their left ear, showing their occupation, the ones working for the royal guard don't have it. Both males and females can be a member of the royal guard, however there are fewer females who choose to join, just like with humans.Other typical professions exist too. It's just that their world isn't very well fleshed out yet, so I guess it's hard for me to put down certain borders.

and no, not really I guess. I think they are all mostly brightly colored and you'd be hard pressed to find a raelian with a dull and dark color scheme... let's say it's alright to incorporate blacks and greys and browns into the design, but they shouldn't be the main color.
