Around 10 years ago I drew portraits of engines 1-8 with pencils. They were based purely off Clive Spong illustrations and therefore not necessarily very realistic, and it's clear to see my engine sketches have improved over the years! Still I'm very fond of them and have decided to finally scan them for posterity and share them here. Enjoy!Related content

You see, THIS is why we need 2d animated films and cartoons back. The effort put into the attention to detail makes for a more amazing visual than any 3d animation, and this image alone is proof of that.
