Amusingly, the color scheme is quite fitting. The quote and pose absolutely seal it, this is a great piece!
One minor critique on the Japanese, though: While grammatically correct, it took me a moment to get it since vertically written Japanese should be read from right to left.
That's a relatively minor issue though, as it's still understandable, and as noted above this pic really catches the essence of the character.

xD My family has this joke about this quacking duck puppet for my nephew. My stepdad said it's prolly like going on a bad acid trip to him... IT IS! I sat there, making it quack and stuff when we were getting ready to leave, and he was just staring at it in mild fascination and complete horror. He was so absorbed in the freaky thing, that my stepdad leaned in and said 'Gimme a kiss' and my nephew jerked and shook his head, eyes still big. xD It was SO FUNNY! I swear, it was like he was really spacing there... Poor kid. I should bury that duck.
