crying world building is fun for this. heres a lil run down. The only species with the extended lore are the meece!

Wispers[CLOSED SPECIES]: Ghostly slime sirens, said to be the ghost of merpeople. They appear to be sad most of the time and their rib cage is always exposed. They are able to go on swim in the ocean or levitate on land. Most people avoid them since a pissed off one can be dangerous. They are able to morph and exaggerate pats of their body for a spook. You'll be likely to encounter these out at sea, under bridges, or empty abandoned spaces like buildings or ships. There's a higher ratio of females than males.

Grumpus[CLOSED SPECIES]: A very aggressive and mischievous species. They tend to be very large and muscular. They are a type of werewolf/satyr demon that feeds off the bad spirits and thoughts of the people around them(practically from hell themselves). They tend to be hired muscle or work shady, but lucrative jobs behind the scenes. They are smart but too indulgent. Gold is a huge favorite and some are even made with it. There's a higher ratio of males than females.

Clockwork Meece[SEMI-OPEN SPECIES]: The main species in the city besides humans. They were created by a warlock playing god many years ago. Now they work jobs such as waiters, bellhops and host/hostess. The clock on their chest is both an indicator of time and their life force. They are very desired among the rich because of their naturally elegant appearance. (extended lore)

Sailmate[CLOSED SPECIES]: They are a man made species that can have items as natural traits. They are enjoyed by children because of their cute, but somewhat goofy appearance. They stay by the sea as tour guides, spokes people, sailors, boat crews, etc. Some are even successful pirates. They have limited speed on land due to their massive legs, but with their duck flippers they are very fast in water. Males tend to be larger than females and they can be up to 10 feet tall.
