This story is about loss, it’s a sad story so I do apologize. With every achievement in life there’s always sad moment that happens along the way that changes you forever.

It's been about 5 months since Elysian and Knockout found out they were going to be parents. While knockouts been out and about with team prime helping out with missions and such, Elysian's been going between Earth and Cybertron helping Ratchet and the kids, resting, decoding, monitoring the base and staying out of the fights like the doctor advised.
Elysian enters the room after a power down
Ratchet: how was stasis elysian?
Elysian: It was good, it gave me a bit on energy
Ratchet: thats good to hear
Elysian smiles and is walking around and sees Raf from the corner of her optic working on something, interested in what he's doing, she decides to walk over to the small brown haired boy.
Elysian: Hey kiddo, how was school today? and whatcha working on? Homework??
Raf looks up and smiles and the femme
Raf: Hi Elysian, School was slow, but good, plus I finished all my homework for the week so I'm just working on my mothers day card

Raf: Mothers day is about celebrating our mom, the one who gave birth to us, I'ts basically a day to show them how much we appreciate them, so we give them flowers, cards, or gifts. Elysian: They are doing okay, I have an appointment with the doctor later today to see how the babies doing.
Raf: have you and knockout figured out their gender?
Elysian: Not yet, but once we find out, I promise to tell you first before the rest of the bots.

Raf and Elysian smile at one another when the sounds of engines can be heard entering the base

Bumblebee: Just wash it out knockout, its not like you scratched your paint. Anyway, while on patrol we came across a new energon location about two hours from here
Elysian: Wow thats closer to us
Arcee: yeah, and bad for jasper, there was a lot of unusual activity being done at the site, and there were lot of drones moving back and forth
Bumblebee: we don't know why they're here
Elysian: there's a lot of Energon on cybertron, why come to earth?
Knockout: Most likely there's a hidden Decepticon base here on earth, there was multiple bases Megatron kept watch on so instead of going to cybertron, they chose to stay here
Arcee: Knockout you need to give us the coordinates of every base here on earth so we can get to the bottom of this
Knockout I don't know them by spark, but if you can get me to the Nemisis then I can download the coordinates
Ratchet: The Nemisis has been in the scrap yard for awhile now, and do you have any idea how dangerous it can be? the ship is unstable, and there could be scrapletes, how do you know if its still up and running?
knockout: Even though its out of commission, its still able to power up. I just need y'all to get me there, and once we arrive I can get the coordinates and we can get out of there while avoiding the dangers
Elysian looks at her husband with concern
Elysian: your leaving again? you just got back...are you sure this is what you want to do?

Knockout: Its going to be okay, it'll be quick and I wont be alone
Elysian smiles, but once she turns her head she frowns because knockouts completely forgotten about her appointment with Dr. Cyrasteel
Arcee: Alright, lets get going, ratchet notify Ultramagnus and have him meet us at the site

Elysian: I'm okay, I'm just anxious about the appointment today

while walking to her appointment she gets strange pains from her belly. she's been experiencing them for a couple of days and became worried, hoping the Doctor could tell her what's going on.
Elysian enters the hospital and is sitting down, anxiously waiting for them to call her name.
when the Nurse calls her in they do the routine of checking her vitals and asking the general questions.
Dr. Cyrasteel: Hello Elysian, how have you been feeling?
Elysian: Anxious...
Dr. Cyrasteel: I understand, so where's the husband?
Elysian: He had to leave on a mission...
Dr.Cyrasteel: Ah, the war may be over, but hes still called to duty.. it'll be okay. Now then, while looking at your charts, I saw a lot of signs that I found concerning, so rightnow I would like to do a Ultrasound just to see how the babies doing
Elysian nods and goes to lay down
the Dr starts the monitor
Dr. Cyrasteel: have you been experiencing anything out of the ordinary as of lately other then the heavy energon loss?
Elysian: I didn't want to worry my husband, but I've been getting these bad pains in my lower abdomen... which is why I had to come in immediately to see you...
Dr. Cyrasteel: Okay, we will get to the bottom of this..
she feels around her belly while looking at the monitor and makes a face
Elysian: Dr? what's wrong
Dr.Cyrasteel: I will be back, I need to speak with my nurse
Elysian looks on with worry and concern trying to figure out what's happening

on the other side of Cybertron, Knockout, Arcee, Bumblebee, and Smokescreen are on the nemesis, or what's left of it. They stay alert and tred with caution while on board. They end up running into some rogue cons who've decided to stay on the ship to stay out of autobot sight, the bots tried to tell them they mean no harm, but the cons insisted on a fight. Knockout realizes that he's not going to make it to Elysian's appointment and feels guilty, hoping to get to her soon.

the Doctor walks back in with a dismal expression
Elysian becomes worried knowing in her spark somethings wrong
Elysian: Dr. Cyrasteel what is it? Whats wrong? what's wrong with my baby

Dr. Cyrasteel: Mrs. Elysian.. its with a heavy heart that I tell you that... the babys spark is no longer pulsing...
Elysians Spark goes numb and she begins to tear up
Elysian: No... No that can't be right, I just came here two weeks ago... the baby was fine
Dr. Cyrasteel: The Placenta had detached, keeping the sparkling from getting the energon they needed.. which explains the sharp pains you were experiencing...
Elysian: I miscarried...
Dr. Cyrasteel: in cases like this, its after a specific trimester, and in this case... its considered a stillbirth... The Sparkling is formed, but small...
Elysian: No... not my baby..
Elysian begins to cry hysterically
Dr. Cyrasteel comforts Elysian as best as she can
Dr.Cyrasteel: Elysian, I'm so sorry for your loss... but, because the baby is Stillborn, I will have to remove it.. if it stays in any longer it will make you unwell which will put your life on the line.. with things like this the possibility of conceiving again would be very difficult, and the next pregnancy would be considered Highrisk...
Elysian doesn't speak but continues to tear up
Dr. Cyrasteel: Mrs. Elysian, is their anyone I can call, maybe your husband? A teammate?
Elysian shakes her head
Dr. Cyrasteel: Here's what I can do... if you dont want to do the procedure right now... then we can wait till your husband comes back.. but you need to take the medicine im going to give you today, it will help until you come back here.
Elysian nods and gets help getting up from the Dr.

Bumblebee: Got into a bit of a scuffle with some cons

Ratchet takes the drive and scans knockout for any unknown injuries
Ratchet: She went to her Doctors appointment after you had left

Knockout: that was hours ago? she should've been back by now
Bumblebee: She probably went back home to rest, she may be waiting on you to get back
Knockout: Your right, I should probably get going, call if you need anything
The bots nod and knockout leaves back to cybertron

He unlocks the door and walks into the condo, the lights are dim and its gloomy, the only light coming in is from the buildings outside
Knockout: Lights on... Elysian? Honey you home??
he walks around and walks to their room which has been shut

at the end of the room elysian is laying down and is seen crying
Knockout: Elysian!
Knockout runs to her aid and kneels beside the bed
Elysian immediately sits up and grabs him wrapping her arms around him
Knockout: Honey? what happened? why are you crying???
Elysian tries to talk through her tears
Elysian: their gone knockout... the baby, their gone
Knockout: What? gone? what of you mean gone??
Elysian begins to sob even more
Knockout worries and becomes upset
Knockout: Elysian, what do you mean gone! what's wrong with our baby
Elysian: the babies spark stopped knockout...
Knockout begins to tear up and holds elysian close and tight
Knockout: Oh no... this can't be right.. they were fine two weeks ago...
Elysian: the placenta detached from the baby... they didnt get the energon needed to survive...
she begins to cry even more
Knockout holds her and cradles his broken hearted wife
Knockout: you did everything right dear
Elysian: The Dr wanted to remove the sparking today... but I couldn't go through with it without you..
Knockout frowns
Knockout: I should've been there... I should've been there with you holding your hand and being by your side... im so sorry baby
Elysian: this isn't fair, we didn't even get to know the gender.. we did'nt even have the chance to be parents! I felt these pains in my abdomen, I did'nt think anything of it, until it got worse, thats why I scheduled to see the doctor, I should've gone as soon as I felt something was off.... its all my fault were not going to be parents knockout! if you want to leave me then go ahead! this is all my fault!! I can't even have another baby or else they would go through the same thing!
Knockout: Elysian, Im not going anywhere, I love you and I refuse to leave you like this... this isn't your fault, you didn't know... you did everything right baby, even if we can't have another baby, im not going to leave you...
he holds her tightly
she feels his comfort and lets it all out and he cries with her
Elysian: I have to go back tomorrow to do the procedure...
knockout: then I will be there with you... I wont let you go through this alone..
they hold one another and share their heartbreak of the loss of their little one.

that night after elysian has cried herself into stasis, Knockout goes to the other room and calls the bots to tell them what has happened
they are all in the room as well as jack,miko,raf and June
they all gasp
June has her hands over her mouth and the bots are in disbelief
they are all saddened by the fact that their friends are going through loss, especially because it's their child.
Raf whos sitting next to jack whos shocked and miko who is teary eyed, is especially effected, he was excited to meet the new baby, and after the conversation he and elysian had made it hurt 10x worse

the next day comes and they go to the do the procedure
elysian is put into induced stasis as they work to remove the sparkling
knockout stands by her side every step of the way
elysian is then awakened after the surgery is done. her vision clouded and blurry coming back into focus
she sees knockout, who looks like hes been crying, cradling the lifeless sparkling. he looks up and sees Elysians teary optics meeting his
Knockout walks over to elysian
Knockout: it's a little femme.....
Elysian: Oh knockout
her spark shatters because knockout was wanting a little femme more then anything
Knockout places the sparkling in her arms and she smiles, the femme looked so much like knockout.
Knockout looks at his daughter with teary optics
Knockout: What should we call her
Elysian: Ataraxia…
Knockout: it’s perfect…
Elysian caresses the sparklings face and begins to cry
Elysian: We will always love you… Ataraxia
Knockout: and you will always be in our sparks..
Elysian and knockout kiss their sparklings helm

Knockout cried with Elysian as they cradled their little femme that should've been born in 4 more months.
they shared the heartbreak and spent their final moments they had left with her as they held her close to their beating sparks.

Knockout steps out to make a call to the bots to let them know the babies gender, but before he call them, he remembered he had to call someone special

Raf gets a call and to his surprise its knockout who tells him that the sparkling was a girl... he told Raf that Elysian had promised to tell him first before he told the team. Raf, whos happy about the news is then saddened.. that Elysian wouldn't be bringing home a new baby... he gives knockout his condolences and knockout thanks him and hangs up to tell the team next.

Knockout and Elysian stay home to grieve until their ready to work once again.

if you havent guessed, knockout and elysian have lost their baby, dont worry, this isn't Aurora. this was their first baby, after her, they never attempted to have another one because they were too scared to go through the heartbreak again. Aurora was their blessing from Primus because they truly believed they couldn't have another sparkling, and the fact that they had another girl meant a lot to them. stories like this mean alot because people go through things like this all the time and its sad... sorry for the long read, but I hope you enjoyed it.

he holds her tightly
she feels his comfort and lets it all out and he cries with her
Elysian: I have to go back tomorrow to do the procedure...
knockout: then I will be there with you... I wont let you go through this alone..
they hold one another and share their heartbreak of the loss of their little one.

that night after elysian has cried herself into stasis, Knockout goes to the other room and calls the bots to tell them what has happened
they are all in the room as well as jack,miko,raf and June
they all gasp
June has her hands over her mouth and the bots are in disbelief
they are all saddened by the fact that their friends are going through loss, especially because it's their child.
Raf whos sitting next to jack whos shocked and miko who is teary eyed, is especially effected, he was excited to meet the new baby, and after the conversation he and elysian had made it hurt 10x worse

the next day comes and they go to the do the procedure
elysian is put into induced stasis as they work to remove the sparkling
knockout stands by her side every step of the way
elysian is then awakened after the surgery is done. her vision clouded and blurry coming back into focus
she sees knockout, who looks like hes been crying, cradling the lifeless sparkling. he looks up and sees Elysians teary optics meeting his
Knockout walks over to elysian
Knockout: it's a little femme.....
Elysian: Oh knockout
her spark shatters because knockout was wanting a little femme more then anything
Knockout places the sparkling in her arms and she smiles, the femme looked so much like knockout.
Knockout looks at his daughter with teary optics
Knockout: What should we call her
Elysian: Ataraxia…
Knockout: it’s perfect…
Elysian caresses the sparklings face and begins to cry
Elysian: We will always love you… Ataraxia
Knockout: and you will always be in our sparks..
Elysian and knockout kiss their sparklings helm

Knockout cried with Elysian as they cradled their little femme that should've been born in 4 more months.
they shared the heartbreak and spent their final moments they had left with her as they held her close to their beating sparks.

Knockout steps out to make a call to the bots to let them know the babies gender, but before he call them, he remembered he had to call someone special

Raf gets a call and to his surprise its knockout who tells him that the sparkling was a girl... he told Raf that Elysian had promised to tell him first before he told the team. Raf, whos happy about the news is then saddened.. that Elysian wouldn't be bringing home a new baby... he gives knockout his condolences and knockout thanks him and hangs up to tell the team next.

Knockout and Elysian stay home to grieve until their ready to work once again.

if you havent guessed, knockout and elysian have lost their baby, dont worry, this isn't Aurora. this was their first baby, after her, they never attempted to have another one because they were too scared to go through the heartbreak again. Aurora was their blessing from Primus because they truly believed they couldn't have another sparkling, and the fact that they had another girl meant a lot to them. stories like this mean alot because people go through things like this all the time and its sad... sorry for the long read, but I hope you enjoyed it.
