When Elysian and Knockout were young they loved being together, they were inseparable.

They always got into trouble and they loved racing each other, Elysian has always been a slow racer, but she's a great fighter, no doubt about that! When she and knockout would race, he would always win, and she wasn't a sore loser about it, then again knockout would always rub it in, but in the end, he would always give her a flower for trying.

As adults, their friendship stayed strong, but as time passed, life happened. Knockout got a job working as a medical officer helping bots, and Elysian trained younger bots in the elite guard. Even though they didn't spend time together or race like they used to, knockout, being the gentle mech he is, would always bring Elysian a flower when he got the chance.

In Elysian’s optics, knockout had the smile, the charm and the spark...everything she wanted in mate. She fell in love with the mech she met as a young femme, but this was her friend? How could she possibly tell him her feelings? She valued her friendship, and was afraid he would never feel the same.
