So this image came into my mind after watching a few too many TMNT episodes and realizing "Wait a sec...isn't April usually coupled with Casey?" In the new TMNT series on nick they've been leading us on with the Donnie and April cuteness. But I have a feeling that that sadly might end when Casey enters the picture. Poor Donnie. We've all been there.I mean I love Casey, like a lot actually he's so neat! But Donnie and April are so cute! Gahhhh
So here's just a quick colored drawing...
Just a note, the goodbye in the title refers to both Casey's goodbye till I see you again hug, and Donnie saying goodbye to the idea that April will love him back...
Just felt like explaining that

honestly, I love DonatelloxApril more than CaseyxApril. In the fanfics I write Casey was replaced by a mutant vigilante who is a female and only uses his name (Casey's) to protect her own identity. So yea, I'm preventing the heartbreak of those who, like me love the Donnie and April cuteness and it's all good! link for a good story is right here! I too like the idea that Donnie likes April. It would be sad once they bring Casey into the picture. The poor turtle won't ever catch a break. Casey will be big competition for Donnie.

I love the double-meaning in the title. Indeed, it's sad to that April might never see how Donatello truly feels about her and about what she means to him. I love the two so much, and while I like Casey for originality, it's just not the same in the 2012 TMNT.

I truly believe it will be absolutely worth watching when Season 2 arrives. I personally want to see Donnie and he whisper-argue over April and see Casey and Raph work together as a kick-butt duo! What about you?

Yeah, I think, or atleast hope that the show will show the turtles growing up and maturing. It's sort of strange how young they all are...But yeah personally I've always liked Casey, he's just awesome, but in this version April and Donnie are just tooooo adorable! I think Casey and Raph working together will be awesome to see, but I just hope that they do show the conflict between Don and Casey over april..haha i dunno, I'm just excited to see the new character designs!

I agree! If they show the shoulder-length raven/blue-black hair, I know for a fact that my sister would DIE at the sight of him, while I think that he'd look really cool. Any who, do you think that April would actually start falling in love with Casey? That would be a heart-wrenching plot twist! DX

haha yeah, i dunno since they'll make him younger,I'm guessing 17ish he probs will still have dark hair but not as long and weirdly I'm guessing he'll wear a jersey of some sort. just a guess...haha but yeah It'll be sad for sure. which is awesome because there hasn't been to seriousness in the tv show so far...

I'll see. Gees, every time I visualize it, I keep making Donnie out to be some sort of emo. Gosh, I really hope they do something with Donnie struggling with April liking Casey. Like have it be comical at first, and then slowly have it be anger and rivalry.
