Oh, man… I had to draw this… I actually drew this a long time ago but I have school & things got in the way… so then, I got a quick break & discovered it again… & I thought… I should pop this in. This is based on the 2003 TMNT series… The fan-story www.fanfiction.net/s/9343149/1… that inspired this...It made me swoon & put me on the edge of my seat & broke my heart for Donnie & April… I nearly died with feels & suspense…. www.fanfiction.net/s/9343149/1…So…this picture is based on the fan-story based on the TMNT 2003 cartoon… I will totally forever be an Apriltello fan…
I kept thinking.... if there was a cover art for the story... do you think this will be fitting? Would you pick up the book if you saw this on the cover?

Yes. This beautiful piece would make me pick up the book, were it on the cover, and I can prove it because it made me want to read the fic. And it is very fitting. Thank you for drawing and keep up the good work. I can see the way the characters light up in each other’s arms. And them floating in front of the moon really ties into the fic. In that they are the two stars. Love it.

I'm pretty sure I have already commented on this picture but I'm going to again. This breathtakingly beautiful picture should have alot more comments, it deserves alot more comments. This is a stunning picture as is the fanfic it is based on. I must have read Hidden lights 2 hundreds of times and I never get bored of it. I really love 2012 TMNT but I think 2003 TMNT deserves alot more reconission and I always thought Donnie and April made a very cute couple in it. I always loved how sweet and gentle Donnie was and I loved how sweet and calming his voice was. Apritello forever! 😍
