Description
You return to the cheetah lands after several years, the landscape hasn't changed much, with dried grass, dust and sparse trees as far as the eye can see.Ā As you reach the small village you start to wonder what happened to that young cheetah who offered you a bird as dinner , when you suddenly feel watched. From behind a wall a muscular cheetah dressed in colorful garments stares at you, and as soon as he starts smiling you notice his face looks familiar...__________________

This was a quick (3-4 hours) experiment made on watercolour paper (I usually use rough drawing paper) and I have to say I had a lot of fun. I didn't ink, and the color effect is really interesting, so you can expect more experiments in the future.Sorry I haven't posted much, I'm a master procrastinator these days.

I have to say, the lineless style looks really good! And the colors looks so smooth. I'm not sure why, but the shadows look extra good on this drawing! They caught my attention for some reason.

Woooooow... you just keep delivering! I absolutely love the combination of unfocused, almost abstract background and highly refined foreground and subject.Ā The way the background looks misty is so well done and I can't get over the way you did the feather!Ā The way the gold trimming on the garment fades to blue gives such a clear sense that the character is a part of the environment.Ā All the intricate little ornaments and details that adorn this splendid cheetah just blows my mind!
