Also, I decide to give Enorach a slightly different look, with whiter areas under the eyes and black strips over the eyebrows. I think they look good on him, and make him more similar to a real cat, but I'd like to hear your opinion about it. ^^ It's a bit inconsistent compared to the previous pages, but not a big deal.
Anyways! We finally know more about the whole situation, and why Enorach and Lars are not so eager to rush into battle this time. Do you think they are right or does Gunther have a point too?
As always any comment, suggestion or critique to help me improve is most welcome!

What a gorgeous comic. The style is full of life and looks like a watercolor painting. It looks like the artist went in for the difficult to draw shots which makes me appreciate the work more. The style has a consistent feel from background to foreground. The expressions are spot on and the story has me engaged. What really has me captured is how everything flows seemingly into one another for a wonderful visual experience. This is very hard to do and shows a tremendous amount of skill and talent for the artist to be the real deal. Even the details like the flow of the characters clothes are well done. I only didn't give the originality another star because the whole human race relation thing has been done before, but that doesn't mean it isn't well done. I can't wait for the next installment.

I loved your brushstrokes the most. You showed allot of control in your placement of color. It's hard to find people you still know how to use the old techniques nowadays. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

The fact the Captain is respecting toward Enorach is something.

For sure! He considers Enorach and Lars to be his friends, as they both fought at his side during the past war. Also, as a soldier, swore to protect all citizens, humans or not.

I knew Enorach would think like that! and that makes perfect sense... Gunther can't really blame him from rejecting his offer, and i think he cannot change his mind. ...but I also feel bad for poor Gunther.. it is his ass on the line if that lady isn't returned home safely.. U-U Also he is right about these guys being actually guilty of something (since Enorach mentioned how many of the non-humans are prosecuted/executed for no reason)
Btw amazing coloring yet again and as always.. your patience for detail is astounding! x-x I really love what Enorach and Lars are wearing here
Also I like those slight updates on Enorach design, I've always been fan of those 'lines' above feline eyes!

Yep! Poor Enorach has conflicting emotions about this!
Usually when something bad happens, like a plague, superstitious folk blame non-humans and start killing them every time, and authorities just let them since they prefer to keep the masses distracted.

Let's all take a moment to appreciate that Lars and Eno really are the morally-richest mercenaries I've ever seen.
Now let's take another moment to appreciate how Gunther doesn't play the "le gasp, you sympathize with them" card, both because it means he knows that Eno knows his shit, and because it shouldn't take someone like Eno to know he knows his shit!
In other words, I strongly agree with Eno's opinion. No one has the right to kill and kidnap, but denial that certain people have been given a reason to do so puts you on their level. Perception of a person's present shapes their future. People may become bad on their own, but society sows the seeds.
Inb4 I get spammed with "LOL nope" responses.
Acttually, 0laf, do you ever get "controversial opinion" comments like this? I'd take the existence of such a post as a testament to how much someone likes your work!

I really like this comment, and I have to say I generally agree!
Those guys are indeed criminals, but not considering their reasons will only cause more harm. Other non-humans would still be persecuted AND fight against the system, like a full circle. Enorach would feel bad facing them directly, feeling he's in a way betraying his own people.
Occasionally I do, and I love them! ^^ They spark interesting conversations!

Enorach laying a verbal smackdown! I find it interesting that Enorach and Lars refuse to take action against the extremists purely because they sympathize with them and their cause. I can understand if this is a serious moral debate with Enorach. It's definitely gonna take either some serious convincing, or a serious raise to get these two in the action.

It is a frequently used theme, but I think racism would be pretty common in a medieval-inspired setting. Not to mention it can lead to a lot of reflections like "what is a person" and so on.
We'll see, hopefully I'll manage to still make something interesting about it.

That's a premise. It will turn into a bad cliché only if the author handles it bad.
Fantastic racism is not absurd at all, I mean if we can discriminate for a skin color, imagine different species! And even more in a middle age era. Of course if it goes toward "only humans are bastards, and for no reason" it will suck, but it's no fatality. "The Witcher" saga played this trope and used it with great intelligence.

Civil rights movements wouldn't exist, were there not some degree of inequality. And true, most of us aren't. But that's in modern, civilized societies. Many other countries, that differs, and this also takes place in a medieval setting, where racism was a lot more potent. It's a useful tool in 0laffson's work.

Sometimes useful commentary stays useful because too many people haven't got the message of all the other useful commentaries.
If something is a problem in the real world I would not expect a good writer to stay away from it just because some other good writers already explored it. A writer who wants too much to be seen as a good writer might overdo it, but they can sometimes pull it off anyway especially with this kind of subject to dig into.
...
It's a bit of an author trap, but it's not unbelievable, it's not irrelevant, and it's not tasteless. That makes it a good starting point for someone who's trying to hone their skills.
Every writer on some level is probably either going for the holy grail of "insightful" or its evil twin "inciteful". In the long run, and after years of practice, that probably becomes a good thing.
