Description
This is what happens when aΒ fully armored knight on horseback is charging at you at full speed with the intention of chopping you to pieces...I really, really wish I had all the time in the world to draw my stories! As it is now, I have way too many ideas and I know I'll manage to put on paper just a small fraction of them, it's quite frustrating!
Anyways, I had an idea for a short comic (a few pages) where Enorach and Lars find themselves in a battle and try to put their hands on a noble in order to get a decent ransom. Unfortunately the only noble they find is a badass knight who tries his best to chop them in half.... Welp, the chances of me drawing that are close to zero anyways, which is why I decided to at least sketch one of the scenes I had in mind

I'd say if a fully armored knight on horseback is charging at you, you are screwed in any case. 
Let's hope that they made it out of this one! Though I suspect that the chance of them getting that ransom isn't very high.

Well, some armors were not full, and left parts of the horse's neck open ^^ The plan is for Enorach to crouch and stab an open area, and hopefully the horse will either die, or jump up on his hindlegs making the knight fall.
At that point they'd both charge him, and they are pretty skilled fighters.
Haha well, he's wearing a brigandine, which is pretty much a coat of plates. The arrow is sticking out of the outer cloth / leather layer.

Well, there's another alternative.
Pray to whoever gods you believe.
If it's a fully-armored knight... heck, maybe even pray to the ones you don't believe in.
On the other hand, such a shame you can't find time to draw your stories. I have always thought that they would be amazing to read.

I love Claymores :0 theyβre my favorite swords lol. But thatβs not quite how they work, you break the horses legs as they pass by, then if the rider didnβt die to the horse falling on him, youβd stab the rider

Actually greatswords were mainly used against pike formations it seems, and not against chavalry! ^^ If I had to use it against a horse, I'd personally try to use it as a short polearm (which is what Enorach plans to do).

Oh man that is so AMAZING! I often wondered what that would be like, a heavily armed knight, or hell, just a cavalier, or horseman of any kind, charging you with a lance aimed at your torso.
That scene in Kingdom of Heaven, when Balien dodges the charging Saracen cavalier, and he waits for the LAST second, so as to not give him time to adjust, but still, cutting it AWFULLY close.
Best defense I say, is a good, well made English shield, hard steel, big, heavy, and curved, to deflect the blow and make it bounce, far less chance of a penetration, but the blow will probably break my scrawny arm, as is.
Best bet, a porcupine of long pikes... And that big sword is NO WHERE big enough.Β
This piece is SO inspiring, I actually almost got a nice battle hammer like that with the war pic on the back, and metal going down the shaft with little rivets. A gun smith about a 30 to 40 minuet drive, also makes weapons like this and sells them for extra $$$.
I see you working on them feline helmets, and you're doing a marvelous job! Our friend Eno here looks like a Dutch pikeman with that helmet and armor! Ugh, I really need to get some art done for you, as well as my own story.

Oh yeah, I remember that scene! The fights are a bit clunky sometimes, but Kingdom of Heaven is still one of my all times favourites!
Lars had a pike, but unfortunately it broke! So warhammer it is, at least he can bash the knight's armor in when he falls down the horse

Ah, yea, that's a problem. Pike is one of your best chances against a charging knight, or a good bow/crossbow with a bodkin tip, to puncture armor.Β
But yea man, LOVE your work! I was browsing the helmets and armor designs for your feline race, you're doing some amazing pieces!

What people commented here reminds me of myself, as in how sometimes my imagination just flat out goes berserk and floods me with more ideas than what I can draw in a year
