I been dead on DA... I KEEP being dead on DA. I always tell myself "YEAH I WILL POST A JOURNAL OR SOMETHING AND BE SOCIAL AND SPREAD THE LOVE", but it seems to never happen.Something I drew last month for a friend of mine as a reference. Honestly not my best -- it was done to be a quick reference rather than an "artwork" -- but I like how she turned out on the here and there.
Now...*rubs hands maliciously* time to go back to being DA-dead!

I designed it so that it just slides up and down; there are series of gears around her neck area.
But yo-yo sounds awesome! Now she can shake her head or something to do yo-yo tricks!

I really do love seeing Theta, for what little she's appeared thus far. This is the first I recall seeing those markings on her neck and elbows, but since it's been a while, I'll assume they're just part of an updated design. (The scarring on her feet as well, but she hasn't been without shoes in what I've seen.)
That woman in the center seems to be giving her a nasty scorn, are the two related in a storyline of sorts? This reminds me that I need to check your journal, it's been a while and I'm certain I've missed something great!
Her earring is retractable? Seems like she could use it as a yo-yo, haha.

Hey Dreilex, long time no hear! Mostly my fault.
Ah, the markings -- I have been doing some experiments with her. The patterns are not-so-proud result of a certain look that make her seem like she have dark blue components underneath her human skin. So some of the thin-areas -- like joints -- it shows.
The scarring on her feet is meant to depict tortures, and her desperate need to dissipate heat due to her combustion engine. Did I do a good job showing this?! I will ask this question to myself again next time I draw her more seriously.

Yes it is! But I didn't think of yo-yos. An amusing idea! Perhaps she can bob her head up and down to get some yo-yo action off of her earring.
