Holy cripes Artemis has changed a lot. And hot damn has your drawing style improved as well! I like the sketchiness of this, don't get me wrong, but it's amazing how much having a tablet can usΒ help improve as artists, not just because we're able to manipulate it on a computer. Sometimes it's all about having the right tools for the job. I like the jeans and the sleeves the most I think, because they are simple but well-done. The way you toned the hair is purty nifty too.

This isn't even the half of her changes. Artemis is, by far and hands down, the character who's changed the most from the original date of her conception. Seriously. You wouldn't even believe it. Even I don't understand how she started where she did and ended up where she is now. It's mind-boggling to the max. .__.;

I may be misunderstanding something here because it's been that kind of day, but this wasn't drawn traditionally OR with a tablet. If I recall correctly, this was both drawn and colored with a mouse. (Hence the sketchiness.) Can't remember if it was a trackball or laser, though. Regardless, I think this was my first real foray into doing digital art from scratch. Probably also the only reason why I can stand to look at it now with fondness instead of this searing urge to claw my eyes out. Regardless, thank you!
I still love her hair in this picture but I'd never, ever try to color it this way again.Β

I had something more constructive to say but I am currently without internet so. Yeah. Either way, the fact that this was done with a mouse is impressive! What I meant to say is, it's amazing how having ANY digital medium can really help. Even if it's just a mouse and Paint, we can do a hell of a lot more than with just the paper tools at our expense. Shits expensive after all, yo.
