Definitely is worth getting if you're looking for that definitive G1 Megatron. He's actually the only Megatron I'll ever need. The MP Megs that Takara released back then, roughly retailed at the same price and if I had to choose between the two, I'd get Hegemon. Not just because the size fits well with alot of the lines out there, but he just doesn't have as many issues as MP Megs does. At most, Hegemon probably only has one or none depending on how you look at it. There are rumors of another MP Megs coming out, hasn't been announced, but most likely will. So you could probably just wait to see how that'll turn out. By that time, Hegemo's price would have gone up. Maybe get him now and decide later to sell him or not to go towards the new MP Megs when he is announced.

well honestly I could care less about the MP version.
I was just curious about Hegemon because he just seems pretty kick ass. .-P
