The three high queens of the Noldor. Three totally diffrent women, yet they, contraty to their husband three sons of Finwe, can have a civil conversation. Three mothers who lost their children. Their lives are similar yet diffrent. 

They all became queens by default, not that they had ever expected it in the Undying Realms Finwe and Indis had been destined to rule forever, yet sheming of the great enemy started a chain of events, which lead to great changes.

All of them were blessed with numerous, brilliant children.

The seven sons of Nerdanel, her joy, who all were the purest noldorin stock and embodied all values and virues of their people. Only Maglor suvived the First Age, but his fate is unknown. And Celebrimbor had a very tragic death.

Anaire had four gentle and brave children. They also were beloved by the elves, but their ends were also tragic. Only her greatgrandson Earendil came to Aman and later Elrond, so she had at least some happines from her family. Possible also Idril returned to Aman.

Earwen gave birth to children who joined in themselves all what was great and good in both Noldor and Teleri elves. The union of two tribes. Their hair were like the light of the trees mixed together. Their deeds were great as their sorrows. From them all she was the only one about whom we know that she could rejoin her children. Finrod was resurected, but Aegnor refused and stayed in Mandor to the final battle. Galadriel returned after seven thousands year to Aman, or rather should I say "little Artanis", as she forever was called by Earwen.

Nerdanel was the queen only briefly, she even didn't do much in that time, just trying to convicing Feanor for abbadoning his madness. 

Anaire even didn't know she was the qeen, she stayed in Aman. 

Earwen was the only of them who trully held that titlle.

Their social background was also not the same.
Nerdanel was Mahtan's daughter. He was a great craftsman, a apprentice of Aule, very respected among crafty Noldor. 
Anaire, we don't know, but I like to think that she was from noldorin aristocracy from Tirion, maybe a daughter of a clan leader from times of the great journay, just like Finwe was the leader of Noldor, her father was a leader of one of noldorin clans. 
Earwen was a royal daughter, from the birth raised in the royal palace in Alqualonde. 
But all of them came from respected families. For Noldor there was nothing wrong with being a daughter of the well respected craftsman, a favourite apperentice of Aule. They admire skills and crafts in the similar level how they respected nobility.
