This thing usually puts the old ZZ Top song in my head when I see it.
!948 Chevrolet Fleetline. The stablemate of the Deluxe and the Stylemaster for a time. Power was usually the 216 inch "Blue Flame" six, they had a vacuum-assisted shift for the "three on the tree" gear selector. One touch, and you'd made the shift. In stock form, the 90HP six-banger could get you to 80mph without overdrive.
But that was in stock form. And this boy ain't stock.
80mph is just a suggestion.
