Description Part three, chapter one:  collision
After walking for what seemed like an eternity, she sat down heavily; letting herself flop heavily onto the damp earth. The droplets of dew on her bright blue boots created a miniature light show in the sunlight. For a while she watched the blue light dance in the water when she saw something streaking across the usual murky, cloudy, grey sky. A dark circular object fell straight down from the clouds and thudded softly on the earth, bounced and rolled a few meters down to the bottom of a hill.
"Hum!" she said none enthusiastic tone, "more space matter most likely."

Closer and closer she became to this alien planet.  The exiting green turned out to be a simple matt of grass; how disappointing, yet, how curious to have earth but no mountains, no garden, no trees! It had such an astonishing color for mere grass.  A glint of blue caught her eye, but the blue was not enough to steal the attention the green was receiving.  Her glass orb hit the earth with what seemed to be a mighty blow, but was more suitably described as a gentle bounce.
"How excellent!" she exclaimed to herself.  "How absolutely fabulous! Such a brilliant planet and not one person on it!"

Behind the hill, she crept. Trying to decipher what it was. A completely smooth, pristine, dark material made the shape of a perfect ball. If it had life, which clearly it didn't, it was life of some other form she had never seen before. As silently as she could, she crept up. She crawled as low to the ground remaining as invisible as she possibly could. She made not one sound, as if it did have life, she didn't want to scare it away.  When she was about four feet away from the oddly perfect meteor, she lay down on her stomach and propped her head up on her elbows. For a good quarter hour, she gazed; absolutely astonished and mesmerized with its perfection and beauty.

She sat down completely at ease and content with the risky decision she had made about descending onto this green mass. She stared out over the green and grey horizon and watched as the heavy clouds moved and rumbled and morphed into pictures in the lofty sky.
I've never been anywhere so quiet; so serene.

Completely mesmerized by the calmness and utterly welcoming soft, rolling hills, she sat for a good quarter hour.
