Description
Sometimes I wonder how
three shadows so small grow up in a world too large.
The sun burns faded images into the minds of the weak
and the moon spins tides into a dizzy churning mess.
Yet you stick together, walk on,
three shadows melting into the wading pool
of horrors
where laughing faces step on you
and you dream but also bleed.
Sometimes I wonder how you kneel upon the stage;
a globe forever rotating
mapped by tragic roads and bittersweet skies.
Relax, you whisper, no need to run,
soon the wind will cool your feet
the night has only begun.
I watch as you rise over bleeding oceans
growing stronger with the setting sun
I don’t understand how
three shadows can survive in such a cruel, cruel world.

IT LOOKS BETTER ZOOMED IN
oh my where to begin with this one. First of all I apologize for having two WIPs up and then begin on a new picture which includes the dreaded cats HOWEVER it is an entry for a contest by my good friend Tanglestarstudious. All you had to do was draw her character with your own character/s. I couldn't resist, if you want to participate in her contest you totally should because she'll give awesome prizes
So yeah, it took me forever to decide on a background but dark beach worked out. I didn't know if I should include the blood or not but in the end I did because it suited the poem I wrote (I don't think it needs a mature content thing, right?)
so Tangleclaw/star belongs to Tanglestarstudious (in the middle she is the brave leader)
Lily is on the right she is my kitty who I adopted I love her design and REALLY wanted to draw her, so... she is sweet, loyal and wise
Snowfeather my beautiful white cat on the left is mine as I already stated :/ and how could I not draw her?
so yeah there's no story to this one but it's really inspiring that corner in my brain to make one because it looks like some sort of movie poster type thing lol oh and on a random subject, you don't know how hard I had to convince myself to not name this thing the Three Musketeers (great title but SOOO overused)
yeah so I'm at the end mf my speech; I just LOVED working on this and felt I needed to explain things XD
OOOPS I forgot to give them whiskers. oh well, it takes like ten minutes to save so whatever XD EDIT I FIXED ITTT
