This is my reimagination of DUSTHAPPY AU. Namely, here are given the first four phases, which is for Mercy Ending. I applied the original idea of Dustbelief to Help_tale's Papalgamate and came up with the results you see now. I retained the logic of Help_tale's implying the literal absorption of monsters (ITs) after killing them. That's the reason Papalgamate looks rather disgusting and malformed than just corrupted. The fusion has no actual clothes. There's just goop covering IT's entire abdomen during first two phases. Later, the deformed ribcage with multiple "eyes" gets exposed. During the first phase, all acquired power helps the creature to exist in a more or less state that looks like Papyrus. Second stage however, reveals the fusion's true self and it's more 5 heads that always appear when IT enters its aggressive state. And finally, during the third phase we get this grotesque monstrosity, made of countless souls. It's just a beastial mesh of bones and spears (Sanstrosity and Limb's presence markers) somehow still being bipedal. The design of the third phase is based on William Birkin from Resident Evil 2 Remake and, actually, his fourth Golgotha virus transformation that is characterised by having two gigantic arms. Papalgamate is seen wielding lots of power of all absorbed souls and has become a towering abomination standing on the brink of a complete, literal breakdown, that can be initiated by its own exposed power... Phase four, however, is a cool-down. The IT of a sudden explodes in several places, blasting away its gigantic arms and its heads. Seems it's power found a way out in a moment and almost destroyed its possessor. After that... Thoughts slowly return to Papalgamate and it realises everything can be done differently. During the fourth phase IT attempts to reach out to Fr_sk in its own way and make them stop from reaching their goal. Then, it is intended for Fr_sk to spare the IT and separate the creature, releasing every soul it has. But... We can go the other way... Can't we?
