Hello again, people. Today I am here to show you something new about by Underswap take: I have got my hands on Alphys at last. So... Two days ago I have thought about the design of other characters for Swapped Relations: after all I cannot have a take composed only of the most popular characters. And I have started with Alphys. As you have probably heard earlier, she is going to remain a brainy nerd with her smart brain not being carved out of her skull, as it happened in Horrortale. Thus, her appearance is highly technological, with an armour rather resembling an exoskeleton with additional weaponry, shooting with plasma (mechanical "arms") or electric beams (tail). In places you can even make parallels with Alphys' inventions from Undertale, like her armour having Mettaton NEO's wings (I know Mettaton is not really an invention, but just Happstablook occupied a robotic body, but still the mechanical compounds give a powerful boost to the original abilities of the ghost celebrity).

Alphys' character is not changing much except for her now being sassy and often reacting to things spontaneously. However, just like in Undertale she is still easy to be made uncomfortable in case of finding you to know about some of her private information or if you compliment her. Also, in case you ask her about her inventions, Alphys would gladly and with heat explain their principles and even fearlessly show them in action (the latter has a solid chance of leading to problems). Alphys also highly insists the Guard soldiers on using her technologies, so finding various neatly made traps and puzzles in Fallplain (Autumn-themed Waterfall analogue. The locations now have their names: Polis Relics (Ruins), Sunaday (Snowdin), Fallplain (Waterfall), Seafroze (Hotland)) closely resembling those seen in Undertale's Hotland (lazers, etc.) is quite predictable, as well as seeing the guards having high-tech armour and weaponry. Needless to say she still loves anime and Asian cuisine with her house having many appropriate attributes.

Well, that is all for now. I know it has taken long for me to redesign the couch ramen nerd into an explosive experimentator, but that was worth it undoubtedly. Now she has an original appearance with still retaining most of her Undertale personality and referencing. It is like combining utile dulci, would you agree?
