Description Hm-hm-hm, so here goes another post about Swapped Relations, my Underswap take in development. Here we got our favourite skeleton familia... Eh... In front of a weeeeeird background. Ahem. So, let us get to the point. So, in my take the skeleton gang has the same roles as in Canonswap (yes, there are swaps that are different from canon, but later about that):
Sans - Ambitious role.
Papyrus - Judge role.
Wind Din Gaster - Transport role.
River Person (here: Mystery) - Forgotten Scientist role.
But all of this comes with the following differences:

Sans, though he has Papyrus' role, doesn't want to join the Guard. Instead, he takes the role vaguely resembling that of TS!Sans': well, not a hero, but more of a policeman who keeps watch over humans. Sans, knowing humans are capable of killing - and he saw some of the fallen having dust on their hands - has prepared himself well enough: he wears a real metallic armour, given by his grandfather, Semi, (yes, scrapped characters, set the scene! Semi is Wing Din's padre) who is swapped with Gerson. Although, Sans had to "shape" the armour for himself, because Semi used to be a bit taller than him. As for personality: it is the same as Undertale: puns, jokes, word shortenings, ketchup, junk food - except no more laziness. Sans is energetic, and always has work to do... Including taking care of the tomatoes he grows for ketchup. His speech is often filled with exclamations (he also speaks in uppercase) and includes a bit more words compared to Undertale counterpart... Unfortunately, he is still weak stat-wise, but things like telekinesis, Karmic Retribution and Dadster Blasters (he can sometimes joke this way) always aid him well in battle. Sans' attacks are still simple, aimed to tire the enemy by repetitive patterns, but are faster and more numerous. Sans would deal you a fake battle with eased attacks in the end of Sunnedout on Pacifist and Neutral Routes (except on neutral route the difficulty would be higher and if you die... Well he won't hesitate absorbing your soul and giving it to Toriel or Alphys: he would know you are a sinner, a weak sinner). On Genocide Route however... YOU ARE TO BE DUNKED ON FOR REAL AND PAINFULLY WITH NO EXCUSE.
Also, if you commit several Genocide Routes, Sans would start talking of some weird visions and dreams or feeling of de ja vu. He is still aware of the power Chara wields.

Now, Papyrus. Papyrus is still kind-hearted, with a philosophy of "giving everyone a second chance to try better". He likes Italian cuisine, especially, pasta, though, unfortunately, doesn't often cook himself, but Sans does for him. Papyrus becomes a sort of a lazy, a little introvert fellow, but still... Whenever you ask him a thing he would help you and would not turn away. He doesn't speak much and can seem apathetic sometimes, although he is not. Also, he has an interesting habit: he can get nostalgic at night and so he seldom reads fairytales to himself before bed. Since he is lazy and is more focused on himself, he never wanted to catch a human, but wanted to, at least, meet or befriend one. He is a good friend. As for in-battle, Papyrus is smarter than before: now he has more time for thinking and now he making complex attacks with differing patterns, which can even build up into labyrinth puzzles. In battle he never uses Gaster Blasters, although is capable of doing so, unless the case is emergency or if he thinks he is fatally wounded. Papyrus would only battle you on Genocide route, similar to Sans in Undertale, but instead of giving you a bad time, he gives you a "memorable lesson" - a reference to Revenge. During the lesson he would first try negotiating with you in attempts to stop you in your track and would block your attacks with bone piles, but once he gets hit after offering you an actual act of mercy - and that is the real act of it, unlike his brother's, both in this AU and in UT... Well, he would just soullessly and hopelessly watch you burning in his puzzle purgatory.

Gaster and Mystery, Sans and Papyrus' parents (thanks to MichaelDaCrafter for allowance to use the idea of making her Skelebros' mother). They both used to be the major scientists working on the NEXUS (US CORE), however, after an accident when Mystery and a few other members of the team (Gaster's followers in UT) fell into her own creation - at the moment the NEXUS was already finished -, whichs powerful energy fields have thrown her out of reality into the Anti-Void (CORE generated an entry point into the Void, while NEXUS did so into the Anti-Void. Both dimensions exist within this AU and my UT headcanon), Gaster abandoned his job and gave his preference for a much calmer activity of a river transport host. He didn't care about money anyways: for the NEXUS all his team had been given a title of "Respected Citizens" and a life-long weekly payment. As for personalities. Little is known about either of them in Undertale, however there are some facts, on which their base for personality would be created:
Mystery enjoys talking of various absolutely random things and some weird proverbs and can often bizarrely play with words.
Gaster is WAY TOO STRENG GEHEIM whatsoever... But it seems he wasn't much against being a scientist and knew a lot of things on the subject.
So... Basically I made Mystery a silent, little-speaking, just like a flow of the river, enjoyer of literature and proverbs, but also a person with a good memory, this is why she remembers all the scientific stuff, even though doesn't really enjoy it. Can sometimes spit nonsense out... To make sure everyone is listening... If you meet her in a room in Leaf-Fall she would only tell you: "Should you meet a man in black, speaking the language of gestures... Do a favour and make him a company".
Gaster here is a talkative physician... No, a talkative person in general. He can always give you a useful piece of advice, even if you don't ask to. Would really appreciate if you also tell him something about yourself. In times he would complain you about having nightmares of seeing his dead wife in a place filled with impossible world, violating all laws of nature, unable to escape.
