Sorry Karai but your Arc was lackluster at best, people complain that Laxus and Jellal from Fairy Tail got off too easy or say "didn't deserve Redemption" to which I say "at least Laxus and Jellal are characters, unlike Karai 2012"

I haven't seen any version of Karai I'd call good, and yet someone like Erod says she was the best written character in TMNT 2012 ? YEAH NO

A character like Gaara has a redemption arc, living his life alone and unloved,not even trusting his own siblings, fighting and caring only for himself, he was a cold blooded killer,plain and simple. Until he met Naruto Uzumaki,who understood his pain, overtime Gaara's emotions changed, he began to feel something other than hate, after that he worked hard to earn the villagers trust and become Kazekage, he even gave a speech during the 4th great Ninja war,showing how far he matured.

Same with Zuko, he spends season 1 as an antagonist trying to capture Aang,however when we see how he got his scar and by season 2 he begins his path to redemption,learning from his past mistakes, team Avatar didn't even trust him at first given all he'd done. Zuko is who many look to as having the best Redemption arc in fiction and its not hard to see why.

Catra as well.

Karai on the other hand ? Oh boy from spending one season as a villain,to learning the truth,becoming a snake (which she looks better as) getting mind controlled and than being absent for a whole season ? Whaaaaa, ok I know they had an arc for her but it was just awful. Fanfictions have handled her arc so much better.
