Some say they're sphinxes. I think the mother was a girl that cursed and turned mostly into a leopard at a young age, and as a result, while she retained a somewhat human and intellect and the ability to speak, she was young enough that she forgot she was really a human herself the whole time, believing now she is really just a funny faced leopard with shaggy fur on her head, and her cubs shared her special mutation.

We so rarely consider the way the rest of the animal kingdom views us. Β What to us may be a smack on the forehead to us is certain death for a bug, but likely would pass unnoticed by an elephant. Β All creatures see the world - and everything within - differently (Although to the rest of the animals, we humans probably seem like the weirdest things on the planet). Β It would be interesting to look on things from the perspective of another species.
