Hey, everyone!
Here's Captain Jake, he's the leader of a pirate faction called the Bladed Gunners.

Series appearance:
First appears in: Episode 56 - True Leaders
Last seen in: Same episode.

Abilities:
Jake is a human, so he doesn't have any kind of special racial ability. However...
He's a great swordsman and sharpshooter that can match both Aerrow and Finn easily.
He's a really good and wise leader, who can inspire everyone to follow him (pretty much like Aerrow, so you can say they're going to be quite the rivals).
He might not be a Sky Knight, but he has his own special moves (yes, he has two because he uses two types of weapons).
One is the Great X, a move with his swords in which he slashes them both in the air, unleashing an energy wave in the form of an X that can cut through pretty much anything.
The other one is the Unload, a move in which he focuses and shoots a really big amount of blasts from both his guns at a really fast firerate.

Personality:
Even though he's not evil and despises the way the Murk Raiders do their pirate stuff (by raiding defenseless and harmless ships to enslave their crew), he's not above doing the dirty stuff a pirate would do, he just prefers something more challenging, because it's fun.
He's a pretty calm and nice guy, but he's not to be crossed. If one were to betray him, the person would end up dead. So you better be honest and say what you think in front of him, if you want to save your life!
He eagerly accepts any kind of challenge, if someone wants to prove they're better than him in any aspect, he'll fight to see if it's really true.
While he's not cocky, he has no false modesty. When he says he did or can do something, he means it.
He's a really flirty guy (that's more to help him get what he wants while doing the pirate stuff) and he actually is smooth and successful with women, much to Finn's annoyance.
He wears a ruined red overcoat to show how many hard and deadly battles he has been in. He also wears it without a shirt underneath to cover his chest, so he can show his scar, a symbol that he has faced death before, but got away from it.

Armor and Weapons:
Jake uses two swords empowered by a fusion of striker crystals and enhancer crystals.
His blaster guns can shoot several shots or charge a more powerful shot. They're powered by modified striker crystals.
He can either dual wield his guns/swords or use one gun and one sword (that's why he carries one pair of each, so he can be more versatile in combat).
His boots have a special spiked armor he can use to make climbing places easier or to fix himself somewhere, depending on the situation.
The small gun and sword on his belt are actually functional and they're much more powerful than you think.

Voice Actor:
I have created a new category for my characters now, so when people read my story, they'll at least know what the character would sound like.
Well, if SHF3rdS were an animated series, the voice actor for Jake would be Oliver Wyman (who's also known as Pete Zarustica).
Now, for you to have an idea of which of the characters he has dubbed has "Jake's voice", look up the character Astor Phoenix from Yu-Gi-Oh GX.
