Currently working on a comic that just takes forever. Then I noticed that the Fluttershy I was drawing is somehow similar to my very first pony picture, so I decided to quickly create this "Then and Now" thing.The background from the right picture was added for a better comparison, the comic frame will have a different background.

Some people like to say they just have no talent, as if you could just instantaneously draw good if you're lucky. But I think talent is overrated. To be good at anything the most important thing is practice.
Keep drawing, don't be shy to use references, and don't try to please other people but draw for yourself. If it feels like fun you'll improve without even noticing it.
