Description
The grey is not ink but water color. I found out why marvel had so much trouble with making a gray ink!Oh ya and he still needs eyes
The Hulk debuted in The Incredible Hulk #1 (May 1962), by writer Stan Lee, penciller and co-plotter Jack Kirby, and inker Paul Reinman. In the first issue, the Hulk was grey. Writer and Marvel editor-in-chief Lee had wanted a color that did not suggest any particular ethnic group. However Colorist Stan Goldberg had problems with the grey coloring, resulting in different shades of grey, and even green, in the issue. Stan Lee picked up on the uncommon color, green. From issue #2 (July 1962) till issue 6 (March 1963) when the original series was canceled used green.

It was Inspirational to say the least.

Great job! The Jack Kirby Hulk is still the best. Today he looks like a freak on steroids. Good to see somebody that likes the classics.

That has to be a reference from Gray to Green Thank God Stan Lee is still around and is willing to talk of his early days with Jack Kirby and others getting Marvel on the right road

Thanks
Most of it is ink, but I had the same problem Mavel had back in 1962. Their is no gray ink! So I pulled out some water color paint that I have laying around and mixed up some gray.
