Manik is the birth child of Sonic and Sally, he takes after his out going cocky speedster father. He does have his mother intellect, some, but the one thing he mostly take after her is how flirty her brother is XD but a lot like Sonic, he believes in justice and equality. If he sees he doesn't like, he dives in head first without thought.

He's been trained by his dad for his speed, but he's not as good as him. He's actually been beaten by eggmans adoptive daughter almost every time, she Taunts him about it too. Only one in their team that could beat is mercury
