While I'm not a believer in the multiverse concept, I still think it's an intriguing idea. Two other takes on this concept are:
Multiverse Experiment (the simplest, and my personal favorite)
Multiverse Incubator 02

Attention Incendia lovers and users!
We are starting a parts drive to set Aexion up with a good fast computer in Panama. We need contributions from members and friends. Many of us have spare parts, so we thought we could combine our resources and ship them to him. We need everything except a case which he can get there. We want a motherboard for atx, a dual-core processor, a good pci graphics card and a dvd burner and hard-drives.
If anyone has parts they can contribute, send a note to RCPage who will act as the clearing agent for this project. Aexion has done great work and we have a chance here to show him how much we appreciate his efforts.

When I first heard about the Multiverse from Dr. Michio Kaku and Dr. Brian Greene. It was like watching my imagination come to life. Unlike them, I got my ideal from watching the stars. I was sitting one night look at the sky and said, "Wait a minute. If the moon is round, the sun is round and the planet are round. Mostly everything is round, then why can't our universe be round too." Then years later, I saw the video on multiverse. In one video, Dr. Brian Greene is interview by Dr. Amir Excel (I think that's how you spell his name) and Dr. Amir Excel said something about, even if we are inside a bubble and there are many other bubbles around us, we are still in one universe. I didn't pay much attention to him then but his words echo in my head over and over until I got to thinking. Dr. Amir Excel maybe right. What Dr. Brian Greene thinks is the Multiverse isn't the Multiverse but just another part of space in our universe, another layer of space.
(This is only what I think)
If a fish was looking over many fish bowls not realizing it was still in one universe he will think they are different universes but when he travels out farther, he realize that all those fish bowls are in one building, one universe. The farther he goes out, the more building he sees with fish bowls, then planets with building with fish bowls, then galaxies with planets with building with fish bowls. The father he goes out, the more he'll realize that all he is seeing is a zoomed out picture of his universe and he hasn't made it to another universe yet.
Your picture shows what the universe may look like when zoomed out far enough. And it helped me grasp a different image in my head instead of using the Onion.
