what a cool and pretty dress on lydia. you can draw such pretty clothes on lydia. and i also have a question for you. have you ever drawn beetlejuice in cool rock and roll outfits before? i tryed once to draw beetlejuice in a motorcycle outfit. it looks just ok. i'm really not so great and drawing clothes like beetlejuice's striped suit. i can draw the pants, shirt and tie kind of well but not his jacket or his pointy black boots. but i do practice at drawing it. just like i practice making my life size beetlejuice cartoon plush dolls. so far the best beetlejuice doll i made is a 5 foot tall beetlejuice doll. yeah, i'm good at making his body, suit, boots eyes teeth and hair but not his head. for some reason i can't make his head round. i need to learn how to you sewing patterns. that would help me a lot.

I did draw Beej in a biker outfit before, and Prince Vince has sort of a gender-bent GaGa thing going in another piece. They're not in my gallery currently, but since I'm looking for old stuff to repost I'll throw them in. I wish I could sew too. I love designing, but I don't have the ability or patience for 3-D media. I think it's admirable that you did the 5-foot Beej. It must have taken ages!

my 5 foot tall beetlejuice doll with no sewing pattern only took me 6 days to make. yeah i don't know how to use sewing patterns well unless some one shows me how. and i taught my self how to sew. i took a pair of old pajama pants of mine. took them a part carefully. and then i tryed to sew them back together and that's how i sew. i just cut out shapes out of fabric and sew them together and pray that it looks like a doll or what ever it is that i'm making. and beetlejuice in a biker out fit. cool. i don't think i ever saw that one before. i remember i think you did a drawing of him with out a shirt on. he did have on his pants but not his shirt. that is if my memory is right. yeah, you use to have a lot of very cool beetlejuice drawings. they were very cute and funny. you can really draw him and the rest of the characters so well. very cool.

That's a cool dress! I love the blend of the colours and the contrast to the red hem and decor.

Honestly, Lina would totally obsess over these. She LOVES dresses. And this is a really nice look for Lydia, since it seems more exotic than gothy. Fantastic styles!!

Gorgeous!
You should really send off your designs to a fashion retailer's or something along those lines...

If I can get a definite story for them. I can make characters until I'm blue in the face, but for story I'm always at a loss.

Ah bummer...
What I do for my comic characters (not on here because I'm paranoid about people stealing them) is think of a basic story plot and develop it over time...but that's me so you don't have to if you don't want to...

That's a really good idea. I'd never get characters off the ground though, since stories are my weak point.

Really? Well what you could do is get some inspiration from your favourite shows...or think of what sort of situations your characters could get into...like, say, Samuel could do something totally dumb/random which could lead to a catastophe...
It's an idea but see how you feel

I'd love to do a short comic of the "Young Archeologists" on a typical school day, but I'm so lazy with comics...

Woah, this is really nice! I love the shading on the dress and all the little details (like the eyeshadow). Looks like you put a lot of effort into this, and the result's great!
You also chose someone from Beetlejuice, which makes it that much awesomer. xD
