Almost looks like he'd fit in with the police in Mad Possum. Well that's what happens when I insist on matching Slytherin colours. The design was heavily influenced by early 20th century monarchs like Czar Nicolas and King Edward. A Dark Lord ought to dress lordly in my opinion.Harry Potter (c) JK Rowling and WB

Yes.
But for me Voldemort will never be a dark lord. It's Darth Vader who's the original Dark Lord.
Ok, you can say, that Voldemort has magic wand and know plenty of spells, but I answer: big deal! Darth Vader has Force choked his former general to death through a monitor!
I even saw a Death Battle video on Screwattack's channel on Youtube. Ok, I must admit, that it wasn't about Darth Vader vs. Voldemort, it was about Harry Potter vs. Luke Skywalker,
but still, it's magic against the Force. And yes, the victor was Luke.
So, what I'm saying is, that Voldemort will never be an equal to Vader. He's not even scary.
Ok, I'm going to finish ranting, now.

I never noticed he had blue eyes in the film! I always assumed they were red in both books and film!

Heh, I'd assume he'd wear a uniform more similar to Adolf Hitler. But then this was before World War 2.

It was rather tempting, but I didn't that diarrhea-brown colour that Hitler wore would look good on him.

Isn't he supposed to have red eyes? Like, blazing red snake eyes? If I recall correctly, that detail was one thing that convinced me the movies were not in good hands any more.

I went with the movie version this time, mostly because I was watching Red Dragon and referencing Ralph's face from that. That detail didn't bother me much in the movies, though it would have been neat if his eyes had turned red whenever he got pissed.

That would have been nice, but it still would have made him look too human. That was my biggest disappointment with Goblet of Fire; I waited five years to see Voldemort in all his glory, and he was almost nothing like the books described. I had pictured some semi-human abomination, and what I got was a skinhead who'd been hit in the face with a shovel.

In the books, the whole point of his appearance was that he'd mutilated his soul to the point that he was no longer human, and changed to reflect that.
