While I will admit that most villains and antagonists out there all tend to dabble in the subject of βDoomβ in some sense of the work, Doom here is the ONLY one out there that can claim he has an actual DOCTRINE in the art; I don't know about anyone else, but I find that fact alone to be pretty damn intimidating indeed; haha
But seriously, my friend, it's certainly great seeing your epic mask series fluctuating quite nicely between the subjects of both heroes and villains across the different universes, and I have to be honest that I was crossing my fingers at seeing the metallic-masked doctor being graced by your masterfully artistic hand in your epically phenomenal style, and it looks like good fortune was yet again on my side, since your latest awesome entry has allowed me the great opportunity I was hoping for!
From your stunning painting job here, you can literally feel the coldness radiating straight off of the intensely frigid mask that Doom so knowingly sports here, right down to the evil glint in the evil-doer's eye. It's a sight and feel that could truly bring anyone who crosses his path to their knees in reverence, and knowing the evil doctor here, I can safely bet that is what he would most likely want in the first place!
And as always, your painting style that you composed here is a truly awe-inspiring treat for the eyes. As you can probably tell already, I am especially loving the magnificent metallic panting and sheen effects that you have so awesomely demonstrated here, but also, the fabric effects you have woven into your painting of Doom's green cloak is another sweet element of this fantastic artwork that really caught my eye; all in all, this is another truly wonderful masterpiece you have created that exemplifies the sheer tyrannical majesticness of this great character in a most EPIC way! ^^
Another truly wonderful entry to your great series, buddy, and I thank you so very much for sharing yet another phenomenal one with us. What are the next surprises in this series that will be rolling out of the Fern-cave next? I suppose the truths to that question will be βun-maskedβ soon enough!
