and what if the pattern itself was the artist's 'mark'? obviously you didn't think of that, though you thought of many 'fancy' but unessential extras, indeed, like 'tilted frame' and so on...

There is something almost digital about this piece - my first thoughts went to Tetris, these simple shapes falling through an orange void, but as I noticed nothing lines up perfectly it becomes an anti-digital, Tetris breaking free and loose. The viewer craves to 'zoom out' - what is around this composition, what is hidden from view? Does this peaceful, 3 colour world hide something from us, do bullet holes pepper the walls either side of this image? The more you look the more you wish to step back, to become the photographer and gain the ability to finish this wider Tetris puzzle.

I really like the composition of this shot, and I admire your ability to find and capture simple, beautiful things like this architecture. However, The fact that nothing is really parallel, but rather very slightly off kilter, bothers me immensely. (OCD?)

Imagine the orange part as something made of wood, and the openings are for putting things into. Books, etc.
