They are so cute. I've been wanting to get one for many years now. I was worried that because they are mostly from cold climates that I could never have one because where I live it can get hot during the summer. But I've only just found out that as long as I get one from a breeder in a warmer area, and take care of them correctly everything will be ok....Anyway they are really adorable. Ignore any of my ramblings.

Oh, I don't mind rambling lol. I also live where it gets really hot during the summer and my husky does just fine. Their two coats play an inportant roll during the summer and the winter. My dog Haus stays mostly inside during the 104 dergee weather. So, if you want one, get one! But read up on them and make sure this breed fits your lifestyle.

Thank you for the info. I've been reading up on them a lot more lately, and I plan to do a lot more before I get one. Again thank you.

Cian has a handsome mask, he's going to be a pretty boy when he grows up. Take a lot of pictures of him as he grows up and you'll look back at them and see how much his mask has changed. That's what I did and I see how much Haus has changed over the years. Have fun training your new pup!

I'm attempting to. I don't have much experience in training dogs(besides the fact that my family and I have had A LOT of dogs). But I've got my dad and neighbor helping me a bit. I've almost got him potty trained. He'll bark when he wants to go out, though sometimes he still exterminates in the house. I believe I've already become a master at cleaning that up...*shiver* I'm also crate training him which at times is bothersome because when I put him in his crate at night he'll start crying for no reason other than that he just doesn't want to be in it. He's also learning his name, though it doesn't help at times that most of my family has trouble remembering how to say it. lol That's about it so far. Do you have any ideas on things I could change or add to his training?

When I was potty training Haus, I would use vinegar water when he made a boo-boo on the floor. The vinegar tells the dog that this is your spot and not to poop on the floor, just a drop will do on a paper towel.
Crate training was easy for Haus. If he starts to cry, put a chew toy in with him to keep him company. When their that little, I had an old baby blanket with a heartbeat sound, that would feel like the puppy was with it's mother. Put him in the crate several times a day, so he gets use to it and may be won't cry as much. If you need anymore help please ask me. Have FUN!

Thank you very much. Though I don't really understand what you mean about the Vinegar. Would you mind explaining that a bit? Thank you again.

Well, if the dog poops on the floor and you bring him over to it, putting his face down looking at it and telling him "No", the pup is not going to understand what you are telling him, because he loves the smell of his own poop lol. When you use the vinegar water, this will tell the pup that this is your territory and not a potty place. Dogs not like the smell of vinegar and will not go near the smell. Once you are cleaning the poop up, make sure that someone is there holding the pup, so the pup will see you cleaning it and marking your spot with vinegar, when he smells it he will never go there again to potty. I hope I explained it well lol.
