Description
I know I was supposed to upload this last week, but it is what it is.Another episode where Izzy ends up eliminated is the second Animated Atrocities episode that I completed. Not only did this help start off the season as extremely boring and lackluster (with the first 2 Β episodes not being good openers), but everyone was irritating one way or another, and it was just a boring challenge. There was not a whole lot of interactions, and it just did not stand out from the annoying moments (Izzy, Trent, Gwen, Duncan, etc).
What do you all think of this episode? Spill in the comments.
I am going to do Animated Atrocities and Admirable Animations on movies too, so check that out as well. Expect a TDI Admirable Animations to come out on Friday as well.

Let's not forget that he went from having what? Two lines in Island prior to the special to suddenly speaking as much as everyone else.
Anyways, sometimes I don't like when a character doesn't have a single line in an episode either.

He's one of those characters in which I wouldn't be bummed if he were to never compete again. I also got the reference.

Lackluster pretty much describes the majority of this season. It's like everybody had taken Ritalin when writing the script. But that still didn't stop them from writing in stuff that was better off not happening in the first place, like Gwent's eventual breakdown. I think a lot of people gave up by that point and just tried to bear through the remainder of it.

It was hard for me to choose a TDA episode because there was so many lackluster episodes, but settled with this one.Β They should have written their breakup better than the way they did, and overall, everyone in this episode was annoying, which is the biggest issue.

On an additional note, Alex Nussbaum is a writer who wrote some excellent episodes during TDI, and brought us many of the moments that made Gwent so great in the first season. Ironic that she was one of the writers to ultimately undo it in the end. But I wouldn't be surprised if Gwent's breakup was another executive request just like the Gwuncan hookup was, what do you think?

Understandable.
Also, 3:10 to Crazytown was actually written by Nicole Demerse and Alex's last writing credit on the show to date was Eat, Puke and Be Wary (though I've heard he is one of the writers on The Ridoncolus Race).

Gwent was the first of the executive requests, so there will be the lesson of first loved not often lasting. After rewatch it most of TDI, Nussbaum had a lot of great gems. He/she left after TDWT, right?

Alex Nussbaum's last writing credit to date was Eat, Puke and Be Wary but I've heard that he's a part of the writers for The Ridoncolus Race and currently the only one that's been around since the beginning as the other writers for the spinoff are Terry, Chad, and Keith (who are guaranteed to lose their jobs should it fail).

I think Nussbaum's last credit was 3:10 to Crazytown, when their relationship finally imploded. Merely a coincidence or not? I have to wonder. We need writers like Nussbaum back.
Teletoon really wanted Gwuncan to happen in TDWT, and CN probably did too. So it's likely this conspiracy as I like to call it does stretch back to Gwent's breakup.

I just remember this episode being forgettable. Like so much else.
And the breakup, ugggh. I think fans have every right to still be bitter about that. That was just so poorly written. The staff must know it seeing how this season is almost never talked about anymore.
