A STONE BY THE RIVERSIDE
March 2022
En sten ved floden
Pen and black ink, 17,5 x 23,6 cm.
A mindscape, symbolizing human life as a process in time and space. On the river bank I have placed a big mindstone, symbolizing my actual state of mind in relation to this process. A lot of turbulent things have happened during my lifetime, which my drawing expresses by the storm damaged trees and bushes by the riverside. The worn, but resistant mind stone shows the relative permanence of man’s intellect and spiritual capacity meeting the destructive powers of nature.
