after rendering i couldnt wait to ps it so this was my outcome..

this is a cool piece. i really like the light streams. it's a nice effect.

hmm looks interesting. i like the "little spouts of ice" the thing i dont like are the bg, the renders colors (Too cyany imo) and the lighting/focal point. imo the bgs too light so it takes away from the lighting of the render. maybe add some direction of flow, and make the render look like its fallign into the black hole by having some "wind" smudges. as for the blurring u did a nice job, but the background looks over blurred compared to the burry part of the render, so play aroudn with that i guess. so mainly fix the color and add some lighting (maybe form the bottom up on the render, i kno the bgs lighting is different but i think it would look better sicne u have more spouts of ice down thar. and over the render, maybe to just make it look a tiny bit less edgy, copy the renders layer, gaussian blur it 2.0 pixels, or 4.0, and then set the mode to lighten. all up to u buddy

If I haven't said it already (or if it hasn't been obvious enough because I've favorited 90% of your work), you are very talented. I like you're unique approach to the over-done abstract art that we all love to try and make. I like the way you work with your background, and because your renders have enough to look at, you don't tend to worry about your foreground work as much which works out fine.
However, I am not particularly enjoying this piece for whatever reason. The Photoshop work seems rushed.... maybe you should take more time, I am stunned enough that you can create so much in so little itme (you must avg like 1 deviation per day!). I'd love to see what something looks like when you spend a week on it.
Keep up the great work, and hopefully you will become more recognized in the near future.

render will look like rather then bettering my how to photoshop them.. i really do need to take more time and care..

I dunno it just seems as of late that all your backgrounds are repetitive and boring. You make sweet renders, your atmosphere just doesn't look near enough realistic to me.

I find using huge soft airbrushes at low opacities helps

nice on Alpha. I really like the simplicity of the background and the brushing and how it blends with the complexity of the render.

It looks almost robotic.. the white lighting streaks make it look as if its streaking out of the sky. Awesome..
