Thanks! This fractal (and quite a few I do) was done with KPT FraxPlorer - available the last time I checked - from Corel for about $89. I have never been able to find a free version. Mine came as a plugin with my Painter.

this is another very interesting and colorful one. Really like the green floral look draped around like that. Really good looking piece

Ooooh! Lots of tubular slides surrounded by mounds of ivy in case I fall! How fun! Thanks for the new playground addition!

I have a question about your process. Lovely piece by the way. Do you have a vision of what you want before you do these? Or do you make it up as you go along? just curious

Thanks Andy! I usually start out with a random fractal generation, selecting the colors that I think I want. (sometimes this changes after I do the fractal) Most fractal programs have certain "types" of fractals they generate, so if say....I'm looking to do a fractal of vegetation, I usually use FraxPlorer. If I want one that I can make look more like a jellyfish, I use another program, because I'm more likely to come up with one in that program. Then....I take the random fractal and start working with it....sometimes with no particular idea in mind....just looking for that "serendipidity"....which still takes a lot of work and skill to find it!
Other times I start with the program (with a general vision) that I know I can generate some type of "jellyfish", for example......and I bring one up on the screen that I have already done, and start manipulating it, by moving triangles around. (Apophysis) Still....you just never know what might pop up......and if you have good artistic instinct....you KNOW a good "serendipidy" when you see it! Hope this helps you a little.

Lovely colors that go together perfectly. The larger spirals remind me of a winding staircase descending into a mossy forest.

Purple and green together is just right in this. The purple is wonderfully vivid and shiny.

I love this Anita. The contrast in colours is very eye catching. It is a strong image, all those spirals too. Could you have a frozen shoulder? I had that for a few years then it just went away...
