I must say, I love your hearts
-on the subject of hearts, you could look into Masaru Emoto's work, he does one test using the image of a heart, which creates a quite beautiful crystal- maybe of interest to you

Awww...thank you soooo much and for the feature! I'm so thankful for it! Wow....tough question! I don't know if there is.....a "best" fractal software program. They all generate fractals that have different looks/characteristics from each other, so I guess it depends which "type" of fractal you like!
For instance....one cannot do a heart (like the one you selected to feature of mine) like that in KPT FraxPlorer or Apophysis (Apo). But the feathery type (of my fractal you selected), I have only seen done with KPT FraxPlorer. The Jellyfish series I have done (there are a number of them in my gallery) I have only been able to do with Apo!
Fractal Explorer and Apo are free downloads on the internet....KPT FraxPlorer is about $89 from Corel. So that's why I use the 3 programs...to be able to do many different types of fractals! Hope this helps a bit.

Thanks so much! When I first tried this program I worked with it for about 5 minutes and immediately closed it in utter frustration - not to open it again for 4 months, when I was bored one night! lol Don't know what happened, but "something clicked" and I started to get the hang of the simplest parts of it. I wish I could type up a tutorial, but that will have to wait until they get my arm figured out.
Hang in there and try it again sometime!

What a stunning satin heart! It's one of the most lovely shapes in nature, I believe. I'm glad you were able to get a good, clear heart image like this one. It's one of those hard-to-find parameters.
