Hey, this DOES remind me of a coral reef! I love the colors; hehe, and the fishes...I've always been amazed by fishes since I was a kid.

I swam in a coral reef in Australia. Thank you for taking me back there. It is good to see you mixing fractals and representational art. Love the fishies and plants.

That is an wonderful combination of art forms, Anita. Sometimes fractals do have the look of being underwater, or some sort of sea life; putting some fishies in there looks really cute and very appropriate for this fractal design. Would you believe, I've done the same thing, using a fractal image as background, and vector art fishies in the foreground. Problem is, the fishies look weird and zombie-like, so I haven't posted them yet. Maybe when I fix their eyes, I'll post it!

Thanks so much Jean! You know.....I've learned that I don't have to do art for anyone but me.......I'm not trying to be a great artist....just trying to express my love of what I do and enjoy the creation process.....and if someone else likes it....that's just gravy! I'm not trying to make these composites look real.....more like poster art....which allows for some "weirdness"! lol Sooooo....you just go ahead and post your work when you feel like it...it's YOUR creation!

That's so true! Iwholly agree with you, but there are times when I really am not happy with what I've done and I keep coming back and trying to fix it. Such is the case with the fishies vector art piece; I've finished them at last, and got their eyes to look less zombified! I'll post it as soon as I clear my mail box out and comment on new deviations.
If I'm happy with what I do, then I don't feel so bad if other people don't like it.

Wow...this is awesome....love it. A must fave as I am a lover of the sea.
I was wondering if you have ever tried wearing a copper bracelet or one with magnets. Its homeopathic BUT some say it helps.

Awww....thanks sooooo much! I love the sea and it's creatures as well and this one just kinda popped in my head as I was playing around. About right now....I'm willing to consider ANYTHING that might help.....while continuing to have conventional medicine seek the cause! Thanks for caring enough to make the suggestion!

Yes...I remember you mentioned that and I am truly sorry because I know that YOU know....it is soooo frustrating! Do you use a mouse to do your fractals....or some other method?

sparx222 In reply to 1arcticfox [2006-09-23 18:57:52 +0000 UTC]
I use a mouse but most of my programs you just click settings. Apophysis I love but dont use much....my hand gets all numb and prickly because it is ALL movements of the mouse.

Oh my......I do know that problem! I'm really sorry! Like you....I can't use Apo very often, or much for the same reasons....it just takes too many hand work maneuvers.....and I would LOVE to work in Apo 2.04 and do some of the new stuff........I can do much of FraxPlorer one-handed, so that's the reason I do most in it......maybe it will force me to become good at it! lol
Good luck with YOUR hands and take good care of them.
