.......Fractal Explorer.....layered in FE........
........This copyright notice is being placed on all my fractal images because I have had work ripped and posted on other sites for download without permissiom - by other people who claimed the credit for creating the fractal. This is just simply put....stealing and wrong. When people quit stealing, I will remove the strongly worded copyright notice.

Oh I understand completely Lauren! I think we need to have an "I'M BEHIND CLUB" here at DA! Nearly anyone who has been here 6 mos. or more and is pretty active.....is behind....ALWAYS! And I'm sure that everyone understands! By the way....if I comment on your work....you do NOT need to thank me.....I know how much comments are appreciated here. Somehow, we all need to help stop "the madness" that is perpetuated here......I also want to thank everyone, because that's the kind of person I am, but I'm trying to figure out a "policy" to follow here that will let everyone know how much I appreciate all the comments and favs....but still leave time to do some artwork!! Hugzzzzzzzzzzzz

Anita, you're preaching to the choir here. Anj & I already have a "no your welcome needed " policy between us, for that very same reason. You tend to become lost in the endless round of politeness, that while nice, really gets in the way of other things. Like creating artwork, or trolling through the galleries to view artwork, which is something I REALLY enjoy & just don't have enough time to do.
So, the next time I say "oh totally awesome, I hate you cuz I'm so horribly jealous" 
Btw .... if you start that "I'M BEHIND CLUB" I volunteer to be one of the Admins for it.

No.... bad word on my part, I'm sorry. When I said trolling through the galleries I probably just should have said going through the galleries looking for Art. I'm sorry Anita.
And feel free to mention the agreement in your journal, I have no objection. Sometimes I get overwhelmed with all the thank yous & your welcomes that a comment or discussion from a friend that I really wanted to respond to gets lost in the onslaught of messages. Then I have to wade through it all to get to where I wanted to be. You know ? And that's just so frustrating.
Please know the same thing from me, if I leave a comment or fave something it's because I really really liked it. And I probably will still say Thank You or Your Welcome from time to time cuz old habits are hard to break, but if I don't hear 'em from you, I'll just take it as understood.
So this is a blanket "thank you" & "your welcome" from a friend who understands completely.

Aww...thanks! OK...if you figured out how to do textures......that's the same way to layer! Just render an image you like in FE - I usually keep it small at first - about 512x384 while I'm designing. Then when you find/do another FE that you think will "fit" well with your first image.....while the 1st image is open....go to the textures and load your 2nd image. Check the preview box. Then play with the different selections under the texturing (darken. lighten, difference, etc) and change the level of the effect you like, by changing the numbers/percentages! When you find what you like, write down the effect you used and the % of that effect - I find I forget...maybe you can rmemeber! Re-render each image seperately at the same size you want them to be (I render twice the size I want the final image to be because of the anti-aliasing.) Then open the first re-rendered image and go to textures and load the 2nd re-rendered image, using the same settings you first used. Then do a 9-1 ant-aliasing and save both the parameter and your image...viola`...there it is! Hope this is clearer than mud!
