A personal work.

When I started to paint this picture I had no idea it was going to turn out like this.
At the beginning it was just a simple portrait of a woman holding staff with few feathers as decoration (She was some kind of mage).
Then I told myself that it's not enough and I want to create something different and more exciting.
I added wings and tried to use colors I never used before.
With those black wings she reminded me of a fallen angel or some kind of shapeshifter.
I pushed it even more and I started to play with connecting her hair to wings to emphasize her moment of change.
That is also the reason I named this work "transformation" because she transormed from one thing to another in the meaning of concept and also in the meaning of her ability to shift.
